Tips for successful photos:
When taking and submitting your before and after photos, please follow the following Photo Submission Guidelines:
Specifications for MONAT Haircare Products:
/ All submissions must be genuine results and photos.
/ For the “Before” photo, be sure that your hair is free of all haircare products. The “After” photo must ONLY contain and/or be the result of MONAT products.
/ State the timeframe of usage (Example of timeframe label: The before photo should say “Day 1 of using [Product Name],” and the after photo should say “Day 30 of using [Product Name]).”
/ Tell us how often and how long you used the MONAT Product.
/ List the name of the MONAT Products used.
Specifications for MONAT Skincare Products:
/ All submissions must be genuine results and photos.
/ For Before and After photos showcasing skincare products, makeup may be worn as long as it does not alter the impact of the results. The “After” photo must ONLY be the result of MONAT Products.
/ Keep hair pulled away from your face.
/ State the timeframe of usage (Example of timeframe label: The before photo should say “Day 1 of using [Product Name],” and the after photo should say “Day 30 of using [Product Name]).”
/ Tell us how often and how long you used the MONAT Product.
/ List the name of the MONAT Products used.
Other required specifications:
/ All photo submissions should be supported and consistent with MONAT Product Claims.
/ Use the same lighting, same camera angle (front-facing preferred), same pose and neutral/solid background in all photos.
/ NO touch-ups, photo edits, and filters are allowed.
/ You may use face makeup for MONAT Haircare Product Before and Afters ONLY. The make-up design and/or colors and textures MUST be the same in both photos.
/ Photos must be in high resolution (at least 300 dpi or higher). Use the high-definition setting on your camera/phone.
/ Photos must be of you and must be recognizable as the same person in each photo.
/ Include the date the photos were taken and note the duration between your before and after photo.
/ If you are using a photographer, ensure you have the permission of the photographer to use the photos for posting on MONAT websites, social media or other promotional materials.
/ Keep signed, dated copies of your Before & After photos, testimonials and substantiation.
/ Please include your contact details, including MONAT Market Partner ID, full name, address, telephone number, and email address.

All photos submitted shall become the property of MONAT. MONAT shall be free to use such photos in its marketing materials, on any media, including social media. By submitting your photos to MONAT, you confirm that you are of legal age and that you assign to MONAT and anyone authorized by MONAT the absolute and irrevocable right and license to use, reproduce, edit, exhibit, project, display, copyright, and/or publish and circulate the photos in all forms and media for art, advertising, publicity, public displays, exhibitions, and/or any other purposes. You also confirm that you will not be compensated or receive any money, prizes or renumeration in return for MONAT's use of your photos. Submitting a photo or testimonial does not guarantee your photo or testimonial will be selected by MONAT for promotional use.
